Ho! Ho! Ho! ¡Feliz Navidad!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

Hace algunos meses vi esta foto por internet y me enamoré del reno…así que decidí hacerlo a mi estilo.

Few months ago I saw this picture in the Internet and I fell in love with the reindeer…so I decided to make it in my own style.

Utilizando lana sobrante en tonos marrón y rojo, lo tejí en tres partes: cuerpo, cabeza y cuernos. En la cabeza añadí las orejitas con el mismo hilo y en el cuerpo cosí cuatro hileras de cadeneta a modo de patas. El reno va relleno de miraguano y en el morro lleva una cuenta de madera para que quede mejor la forma.

I used some leftover wool in brown and red and I knitted it with three parts: body, head and horns. I crocheted two little ears in the head with the same wool and in the body I sewed four chain rows to make the the legs. It has a cotton filling and the nose is filled with a wooden ball to keep its shape.

A continuación, cosí la cabeza al cuerpo, los cuernos en la cabeza y le bordé los ojitos en negro. Después, coloqué unas cuentas rojas de madera en el final de las patas.

Afterwards, I joined the head to the body, the horns to the head and I embroidered the eyes in black. Then I put some red wooden balls at the end of the legs.
