Hello my friends from cruzypunto.com.

Ha sido un año muy intenso por diversas razones (trabajo, salud, vuelta a la universidad) y aún así, algún ratito he sacado para mis proyectos de punto de cruz y ganchillo. Para lo que no he tenido tiempo ha sido para escribir en el blog, pero como dice el refrán «Nunca es tarde si la dicha es buena». Así que os presento algunos de los proyectos «DESTACADOS» que han marcado este año.

It has been an eventful year for several reasons ( job, health, back to University). Even so I have managed to have some free time for my cross stitch and crochet projects. However, I had no time enough to write posts in the blog, but it is never late if the outcome is good. So, here I enclose you my «highlight» projects which have played a key role this year.

En primer lugar, el regalo que le hice a mi amiga Raquel por el nacimiento de su hija Lucía. Un conjunto de mantita de ganchillo tejida en algodón orgánico, a punto de concha y en cuatro colores (beige, gris, verde y salmón) y dos baberos, con motivos acordes a las aficiones de los papás de la criatura.

First of all, the present I gave my friend Raquel for the birth of her fist baby girl, called Lucía. A set of a crochet blanket, knited in organic cotton, shell stitcht in four shades (beige, grey, green and salmon) and two bibs, decorated with patterns linked to her parent’s hobbies.

En segundo lugar, mi serie de animales a punto de cruz enmarcados en bastidor, para decorar un rinconcito de mi casa del pueblo. Las ideas las saqué a través de fotos de Pinterest y los animalillos parece que tienen vida propia…mirad qué ojos…

In second place, a series of little animals cross stitched framed in wood round frames, to decorate a tiny corner in my country house. Ideas came out from Pinterest and animals seemed to «come to life», look at their eyes…

Y el último pero no menos importante, «Espeluchado», que se lo regalé a mi madre…

The last one of the animals is «Espeluchado», a chickadee bird which I gave my mother…

El tercer lugar del ranking, lo ocupan los tradicionales adornos y postales navideñas…en punto de cruz y en ganchillo.

In the third place of the ranking, the traditional ornaments and Christmas cards, done in cross stitch and crochet.

En cuarto lugar un diseño en punto de cruz para la confirmación de mi hija mayor.

In the fifth place, a cross stitch design done for my eldest daughter religious confirmation.

Y por último, otros motivos de la serie de botánica con gráficos de DMC, en tonos amarillos y naranjas, que esta vez han servido para un cuadro y una funda de cojín.

And finally, some other patterns from the botanical series from DMC, in yellow and orange shades, which this time have served to make a picture and a cushion cover.

Un cuadro de nacimiento marinero/ A marine childbirth picture

Hello everyone,

como veis estos días tengo algo más de tiempo libre y de WiFi, así que os enseño otro de los proyectos de este verano. Mi madre me había encargado un cuadro de nacimiento, bordado en punto de cruz, para la hija de unos amigos que viven en Galicia. No había tenido tiempo de hacerlo hasta ahora, así que revisando revistas punto de cruz antiguas con números especiales para bebés, me encontré con este formato…

These days I have a little bit more free time as well as WiFi, so I show you another of my summer projects. Mi mom had ordered me a childbirth cross stitch picture for the baby girl of her friends who live in Galicia. I didn’t have the time to do it until this summer, so I was looking through some old cross stitch magazines with special baby pages when I found this…

Es un típico cuadro de nacimiento de la revista «Labores del Hogar» de hace unos 16 años…madre mía cómo pasa el tiempo…

It was the typical childbirth cross stitch picture from «Labores del Hogar» magazine and the entry was 16 years old…you can really see how time passes…

Para adpatarlo a la recién nacida y como su familia vive en la costa, tuve claro que los motivos marineros debían aparecer en el cuadro, junto con otros motivos más clásicos de cuadritos infantiles. Eché mano de un libro recurrente como ya conoceís los seguidores de mi blog. Y es que me encanta…lo bordaría entero…

In order to adapt it to the babygirl, and as the family lives near the cost, I was aware that the marine motifs must appear in the picture, next to more classical baby ones. So, I grabbed my favourite marine cross stitch book as many of my blog followers know. I really adore it…I could even embroider it all…

¡Manos a la obra! Empezamos por marcar los bordes y unos pequeños detalles…

Let’s do it! We begin with the edges and some tiny details…

Faros en tonos de azul marino y rojo

Lighthouses in navy blue and red shades

Conjuntamos los tonos de azul del borde con los faros

Matching blue shades from the edges with the lighthouses

Y empezamos con los detalles personales del nacimiento de la pequeña: el peso, la medida, la fecha y la hora …

And now, we go with the personal details from the babygirl birth: weight, height, date and hour…

Corazones, ovejas, flores, conejos y ositos, biberones y sonajeros, acompañados de barquitos, faros y peces…

Hearts, sheeps, flowers, bunnies and teddy bears, rattles and baby bottles, accompanied by little ships, lighthouses and fishes…

Todo en perfecta armonía de colores y formas, sin perder de vista que se trata de un cuadro infantil, todo ternura y para rematar, añadimos al borde del cuadro una greca de corazones y hojas, en los mismos tonos de rosa y rojo que han ido apareciendo en los motivos del cuadro…

All combined in a perfect harmony of colours and shapes, without losing sight of the fact that is a childish picture, all tenderness. To finish it, we add  a decorative border with small hearts and another with tiny leaves to the edge of the picture, in the same shades of pink and red that had been appearing during the picture embroidering…

Una mezcla curiosa que ha dado como resultado este maravilloso cuadrito de nacimiento…

A curious mix which has resuted into this marvellous childbirth picture…

Verano en blanco/ Blank summer

Hello my dear blog friends,

aunque el verano casi está terminando os acerco hoy mi última y veraniega creación totalmente a la moda. Mi hija pequeña llevaba tiempo viendo bolsos como estos en las tiendas…y me pidió que le hiciera uno.

Though the summer is almost ending, today I bring you my last and summery creation. It’s really trendy! My youngest daughter had seen it for a long time in several shops…and she asked me to do one for her.

La cobertura rural que empeora cada año, me ha hecho imposible enseñaros este último proyecto en vivo y en directo. Ahora he «pillado» WiFi y os lo puedo mostrar. Como veis, se trata de un bolso de verano confeccionado en trapillo blanco de algodón.

The countryside mobile phone coverage is worst every year, so I wasn’t able to show you my project live and in person. But now I have found my WiFi and I can show it to all of you. As you see, it’s a summer cotton crocheted bag.

Necesitamos al menos dos ovillos de trapillo grandes. Es mejor que sea de algodón con un poco de fibra elástica, porque así se trabaja mejor. Los ovillos son muy baratos y los podéis encontrar en tiendas estilo «Asia Market» por menos de dos euros la unidad. El diseño es muy sencillo, se trata de hacer dos círculos iguales a base de puntos altos, hasta alcanzar el tamaño de circunferencia deseado.

We shall need two big cotton yarn balls at least. It should be better if the cotton yarn is mixed with a little bit of elastic fibre, because it’s easy to crochet it. The cotton balls are very cheap (you can find them in an «Asia Market» type store for less than two euros each). The pattern is quite simple; you have to crochet two circles of the same size, using double crochet points, until you reach the size you want.

Para unir ambos círculos, hacemos una tira más estrecha, empleando los mismos puntos, y le damos el largo necesario para cubrir los círculos y formar lo que será el «saco» de nuestro bolso.

To join both circles, we create a narrow strip using the same points. The length must be enough to cover the two circles, in order to form the sac of our summer bag. 

Una vez tenemos la tira hecha, la vamos cosiendo con el mismo trapillo, primero a un círculo y luego al otro.

When we finish the strip, we sew it with the same yarn, first to one of the circles and then to the other.

Finalmente, para confeccionar el asa, hicimos una tira con nudos de macramé, que posteriormente unimos a los dos extremos del bolso. En este paso me ayudó mi hija pequeña.

Finally, to do the handle, we confectionated a strip of macramé knots, that we joined to both edges of the bag. In this step I was helped by my daughter.

Y aquí ya podéis ver lo bonito que ha quedado el bolso. Ideal para llevar a la playa o a la piscina con la toalla, la crema solar, o lo que queráis…

Here you can see how beautiful the bag is! It’s perfect to go to the beach or the swimming pool and to carry your towels, sun lotion, or whatever you want…

Y como en casa aprovechamos todo, y nos sobró trapillo…hicimos esta pequeña cesta para colocar cosas. Puede servir de panera o para organizar armarios, repisas, etc.

As you know, at home we use every leftover of yarn, so we did this small basket to put things in it. You can use it as a bread basket or to organise wardrobes, shelves, etc.

Una manta para papá/ A blanket for daddy

Good afternoon, dear blog friends,

Os pido disculpas una vez más por tardar en publicar de nuevo, pero han sido unos meses muy intensos…Hoy os muestro mi última creación ganchillera. Se trata de una manta de lana, de tamaño no muy grande, para dejar a los pies de la cama o para echarse en el sofá. Pensaréis que me he vuelto loca con el calor que hace, y sin embargo terminé la manta allá por Semana Santa.

I’m sorry for being late in posting a new entry again, but I’ve been busy as a bee during last months. Today I’m showing you my last crochet creation. It’s a wool blanket, not too big, but enough to have it at the feet of your bed or in the sofa. You may think that i’m mad with this hot weather…but the thing is I finished it during Easter holidays.

Os preguntaréis para quién la he tejido esta vez.  El destinatario: mi padre. ¡Con la de cosas que he hecho de ganchillo y ninguna para él! Pues ya es su turno…

Probably, you may be wondering who is the recipient this time. It’s my father. I’ve done loads of things but never for him! Now it was his turn!

Buscando inspiración por internet me encontré con esta interesante web : https://notyouraveragecrochet.com/as-we-go-stripey-blanket/ en la que además tenían la versión gratuita del patrón para imprimir con todas las instrucciones, aunque eso sí…en inglés. Combina un montón de puntos distintos y muchos colores, en rayas que se van repitiendo a lo largo de toda la manta. El patrón es cortesía de Hannah Davis.

Looking for inspiration through the internet, I found this interesting website https://notyouraveragecrochet.com/as-we-go-stripey-blanket/ in which they even had the free version of the patern to print, with whole instructions but in English. It combines a lot of different stitches and colours, in stripes which are been repetaed through the blanket. The pattern is courtesy of Hannah Davis.

Lo primero, elegir la lana y los colores. Lana merina (55%) con mezcla de acrílico para que no pique…Las marcas han sido Katia y DMC. Son muy amorosas. El orden es importante a la hora de empezar, y luego se van combinando colores según el punto empleado.

The first step is to choose the kind of wool and the colours. I’ve chosen Merino wool (55%) with acrylic to avoid itching. The brands are Katia and DMC. They are quite loving. The order of colours is very important at the beginning of the project, but after that you can go on combining them, taking into account the stitch you are using.

Y aquí las primeras vueltas con puntos altos, granny stripes y comienzo de Catherine’s wheels:

y seguimos avanzando; aquí podéis ver el detalle del punto llamado rueda de Catalina o Catherine’s wheel con dos combinaciones diferentes de colores:

y ahora unas cuantas burbujas o bubbles:

es el turno del punto de estrella o star stitch, ondas y algunas granny stripes o rayas de la abuelita:

Y así, línea por línea, vuelta por vuelta, terminamos la manta…

And then, stripe by stripe, row by row, we finish the blanket…

y tenemos que pensar en hacerle un borde, que sea sencillo, para no recargarla demasiado. Así que hacemos un borde de punto enano, sencillo pero efectivo.

we have to think about the blanket’s border, something simple in order to avoid being heavy. So, we do a double crochet, easy but effective.

Preciosa, ¿verdad? y además muy calentita y suave. Ahora ya nos podemos relajar en el sofá y tomarnos una buena taza de té. Nos lo hemos ganado.

Awesome, isn’t it? and so soft and warm…Now we can unwind in the sofa and have a big cup of tea. We really deserve it.

ORGULLO Y PREJUICIO / PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

Good afternoon my friends,

Hoy quiero mostraros mi último y especial gran proyecto en punto de cruz. Soy una apasionada de la escritora británica Jane Austen, y en especial de su obra «Orgullo y Prejuicio».

Today I want to show you my last and very special cross stitch project. I’m a passionate fan of the British writer Jane Austen, and specially of her novel «Pride and Prejudice».

Cuando hace casi un año me encontré casualmente con este blog y su post sobre la obra, casi no podía creerlo… http://willowtreestitcher.blogspot.com.es/2013/08/it-only-took-me-5-yearspride-prejudice.html Dos de las cosas que más me gustan, se habían unido: bordar a punto de cruz un cuadro sobre la famosa obra y serie de TV.

When almost a year ago I casually found this blog and its post about it, I could hardly believe it…http://willowtreestitcher.blogspot.com.es/2013/08/it-only-took-me-5-yearspride-prejudice.html. 

Two of the things I really most appreciate were reunited:  cross stitching and the famous TV series.

Decidí que en el primer momento que tuviera libre abordaría el trabajo; así que cuando llegó el verano, poco a poco, me puse manos a la obra, primero imprimiendo las fotos, y luego seleccionando los colores. Por supuesto, para una obra de semejante importancia decidí bordar sobre un lino en color crudo ¡la ocasión lo merece!

 So I decided that in my first occasion having some free time, I’ll address the task. Then, summer came and little by little, it was time to act. I began to print the pictures, and to choose the thread shades I was going to use. To such an important project, I decided to embroider over ecru coloured linen. The occasion deserves it!

Nunca había bordado un cuadro de grandes dimensiones a partir de fotografías, sin esquemas, así que me armé de paciencia, y empecé a recomponer el mismo, a partir de las imágenes del blog de Willow Tree, contando puntada por puntada. Comencé por el borde, cosiendo la greca de flores tan bonita y delicada, para tener la medida definitiva del cuadro y luego poder empezar por los diferentes motivos, y ajustarlos al tamaño del borde si era necesario.

I had never sewed such a huge work only having photos as a reference, without a pattern. I ought to have a lot of patience, in order to reassemble all the project with the help of the blog images, counting stitch by stitch. I began through the edge, embroidering the delicate and precious floral fretwork, so that I could have the final dimensions of the work. Then, I would be able to sew the different motifs and adjust them to the final measures, in case it was necessary.

A continuación, empecé por los motivos de la esquina inferior derecha; los protagonistas de la obra: el Señor Darcy y Elizabeth (Lizzy) Bennet.

After that, I started with the right corner motifs, which were the main characters of the novel: Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth (Lizzy) Bennet.

¿Se parecen a los de la serie, verdad?

Do they look similar to the ones in the TV series?

 

Después, seguí avanzando hacia la izquierda con el escudo de los Señores Darcy y el famoso lago de Pemberley, donde en la serie de TV de la BBC, Colin Firth se daba el famoso chapuzón que marcó un hito en la historia de la televisión, por la forma en que se adaptó el clásico de Austen a la pequeña pantalla…(en la novela original no existe esta escena, pero los fans ya no concebimos la obra sin ella).

To continue with, I went on moving to the left side doing the Darcy’s emblem and the famous Pemberley’s pond, where in the BBC TV series, Colin Firth bathed in one of its most famous scenes. It marked an important milestone in TV history, because of the way to deal with the classic adaptation from Jane Austen’s to the screen…(In the original book this scene does not exist, but the TV series fans wouldn’t conceive it without it).

La parte inferior del cuadro se completa con la esquina inferior izquierda, en la que aparece el Señor Bingley (el mejor amigo de Darcy) y la casa que alquila, Netherfield.

The lower part of the work is completed with the left corner in which Mr. Bingley (Mr. Darcy’s best friend) appears in front of the house he rents, Netherfield.

Pasé entonces a la parte superior del cuadro, y en esta ocasión fui de izquierda a derecha, comenzando por el árbol y siguiendo por Longbourn, el adorable hogar de las hermanas Bennet.

Then I moved to the upper part of the project, but this time going from the left to right side. I started with the tree, followed by Longbourn, the Bennet’s sisters lovely home.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Continúo con el regimiento de Meryton, y el Señor Wickham, galante, seductor y libertino personaje, que tantos quebraderos de cabeza da en la novela a la familia Darcy y a las hermanas Bennet…

Hereafter, I continued depicting Meryton’s Regiment and Mr. Wickham, the charming,  seductive and loose character, who causes so much trouble to the Darcys and the Bennet’s family in the novel.

Justo después, nos quedan otros dos edificios importantes en la novela: Rosings Park y la rectoría adjunta, donde vive el Señor Collins (primo de las hermanas Bennet) con su esposa,  y donde tiene lugar la primera declaración de amor y petición de matrimonio del Señor Darcy a Lizzy Bennet.

Right down, we have two more important buildings from the novel: Rosings Park and the attached rectory, where Mr. Collins (cousin of the Bennet sisters) and his wife live. The first marriage proposal and love declaration from Mr.Darcy to Elizabeth took place here.

Por último, en la parte central del cuadro, quedaba por bordar el título de la novela y Pemberley, el hogar de los Darcy.

At last, in the central project area, it only remained to embroider the title and Pemberley, the Darcys’ home.

Han sido seis meses de trabajo y de disfrute, viendo cómo avanzaba poco a poco este pequeño homenaje a una de mis series de TV y novelas favoritas en lengua inglesa. It has been six months of stitching enjoyment, just looking how it progressed little by little, this humble homage to one of my favourite novel and TV series in British language. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have done embroidering it. Vuelvo a casa por Navidad / Coming back for Christmas

¡Hola! ¡Ya estoy de vuelta! Saludos a todos mis queridos amigos de cruzypunto.com.

Hello! I´m back! Greetings to all my dear friends of cruzypunto.com.

Acabo de ver que la última entrada del blog la escribí el pasado mes de Agosto, pero en mi defensa diré que en estos meses mi vida ha dado un gran cambio. ¡He vuelto al mundo laboral!

I’ve just seen that my last post was from August, but in my defense I´ll say that in these months my life has chagen completely. I’ve returned to the world of work!

La verdad es que ha sido un no parar y ciertamente todos los comienzos son duros después de una larga inactividad. Pero aquí estamos de vuelta y para no perder las buenas costumbres, os muestro algunos de los trabajos en ganchillo que he realizado este año como decoración navideña.

My life has become hectic and a non-stop, and certainly all the beginnings are hard, moreover after some idle years. However, we´re back and in order not to lose good habits, here I show you some of the Christmas ornaments I’ve prepared this year.

La idea de este copo de nieve la saqué de pinterest y con su tamaño mediano queda genial para decorar el árbol de Navidad.

The idea to create this snowflake came from pinterest and its medium size makes it ideal to hang it in your Christmas Tree.

I also made a tiny white Christmas Tree to enhance your dinner table at Christmas Eve or any other place at home. I got my inspiration from this website: http://delicadezasalcrochet.blogspot.com.es/2016/11/arbol-de-navidad.html#more as well as in Pinterest, a classic…

Partiendo de un círculo inicial, se van realizando las vueltas del árbol con aumentos hasta llegar a la primera parte.

We begin with a circle and continue increasing crochet knits in every row until finishing the first part.

Posteriormente, mediante falsos puntos se tejen las vueltas de forma que queden las ramas triangulares y se vuelven a realizar los aumentos hasta que llegar hasta la forma definitiva, compuesta por tres triángulos.

Then we continue with false crochet knits to obtain the triangle form of the branches, and we continue with the increasing to reach the final shape with three triangles.

Después confeccionamos otro árbol igual, que coseremos al anterior y rellenaremos de algodón o miraguano para darle volumen.

After that, we make another similar tree that we will sew together to the other. We will fill it with cotton or kapok fibers to create some volume

Por último, le cosemos el palito de madera con su peana que hará de base para que nuestro árbol de navidad se sostenga. Para darle un toque colorido, lo adornamos con unos lazos y un botón que cosemos a nuestro arbolito.

Finally, we sew a wooden stick with a base to hold our tree. To add some colour, we can enhance it with some ribbons and a button stitched.

Ya tenéis dos nuevos detalles muy fáciles para completar vuestra decoración navideña. Nos vemos pronto con novedades puntocruceras.

70 AÑOS DE PURA VIDA/ 70 YEARS OF PURE LIFE

Hola a todos, queridos amigos del blog.

Hoy comparto con vosotros el 70 cumpleaños de mi tía Sonsoles, que también es mi madrina. Una fecha muy especial para ella, pues creía que nunca llegaría a cumplirla. Enferma de corazón desde los 20 años, ha sido capaz de plantarle cara a su enfermedad y a sus complicaciones con gran valentía, y disfrutar de lo bueno de la vida. Como regalo, le he bordado un cuadro en punto de cruz resaltando aquellos aspectos que más le han hecho disfrutar a lo largo de estos 70 años.

El comienzo ha sido bordar la frase con el título de este aniversario en verde, uno de sus colores preferidos

Seguimos con los viajes. Mi tía es una viajera empedernida y ha llegado hasta donde los médicos y su corazón le han dejado…desde Siberia a la Patagonia…

La cocina es otra de sus grandes pasiones…cocinar y comer…siempre está a la última de los restaurantes de moda y ha hecho cursos de cocina.

La música: ella es una gran aficionada a la música clásica y me aficionó a ella. Juntas hemos asistido a muchas representaciones de ópera en el Real. Uno de sus compositores favoritos es Mozart.

Y por último, lo más importante, la familia. Ella no tiene hijos propios, pero mis hijas, mi marido y yo, como si lo fuéramos…

Hello friends,

ya bien metidos en el verano os propongo un cuadro realizado en punto de cruz, de inspiración marinera.

We are now immersed in summertime and I propose you a marine inspired cross stitch project.

El pasado verano estuve unos días de vacaciones en Cornualles, y en un bed and breakfast donde nos alojamos, encontré un cuadro de madera con una frase realmente cierta, que es el título de mi post de hoy:

Last summer I spent some holidays in Cornwall and we stayed in a B&B, where I found a wood picture with an inspirational and true sentence that is today’s post title:

Y es que cerca del mar, tus preocupaciones se hacen más llevaderas en incluso desaparecen. Cuando terminé el máster que he cursado el pasado mes de de Junio, necesitaba hacer algún proyecto fácil, colorido y relajante,

Because it is a universal truth that when you are by the sea all your worries are more bearable; what is more, sometimes they can also disappear. Last June, when I finished my masters, I needed to create an easy, colourful and relaxing project,

 

El diseño es del libro «Bord de Mer au point de croix» de Anna Field, y terminé dándole un toque personal con esta frase.

The pattern is from the book «Bord de Mer au point de croix» by Anna Field, though I gave it my personal touch adding that sentence.

Hi Everybody!

Como continuación de la publicación de la semana pasada, pese al calor, hoy os traigo un chal que hice con la lana sobrante de la manta de Marcos, y que regalé a su mamá, para que vaya a juego con el bebé.

Continuing with last week post, despite the hot weather we are suffering, today’s publication is about a shawl made with leftover yarn from Marcos’ blanket. I gave it to his mother to wear it matching her baby.

Lo hice con el mismo patrón utilizado para hacer un chal de invierno que ya os mostré en anteriores entregas. Lo bueno de este modelo es que se puede usar a modo de chal en primavera/ verano, y en invierno puedes enrollarlo al cuello como bufanda.

I crocheted it with the same pattern I used to make a winter shawl that I showed you in previous posts. The good thing about this project is that you can use it as a spring/summer shawl, but you can also wear it as a scarf during winter around your neck.

En esta ocasión utilicé la lana sobrante de la mantita del bebé, pero con los colores combinados en distinto orden.

This time, I employed the leftover baby’s blanket yarn, however the colours were combined in a different order.

 

Para rematarlo, hice pruebas con dos tipos de bordes, y escogí el segundo:

For the edge, I made several samples with two different endings and finally I chose the second one:

Ya estoy de vuelta/ I´m back

Disculpadme por estos meses de ausencia debidos a la realización de un máster universitario, así como varios temas de salud familiares. Gracias a Dios, todo se ha solucionado con éxito y oficialmente soy profesora de Educación Secundaria, Bachillerato y FP.

I’m sorry for all these long months in which I’ve been absent from the blog. Due to a Master’s and some family health issues, I wasn’t able to post. Thanks God, everything has been successfully solved, and now I’m officially a Secondary Teacher.

He elegido la mantita para el segundo bebé de mi amiga Cristina como motivo para la nueva publicación de mi blog, ya que su confección me ayudó a relajarme en los momentos de estrés, pero es que además hemos descubierto un nuevo tipo de lana que nos tiene fascinados…una mezcla de algodón y lana de yak de Katia que es todo un bombazo, por su suavidad, textura, ligereza y colores. Juzgad vosotros mismos:

I’ve chosen the blanket for my friend´s Cristina second baby boy as the subject for my new post. Its preparation helped me a lot to unwind during the hardest part of these last months. Besides, we have discovered a new type of wool that keeps us fascinated. It’s a mixture of cotton and yak wool that is a bomb due to its softness, texture, lightness and colours. Just judge by yourselves:

Which colour combination do you enjoy more? The chosen one has been this:

El diseño de la manta ha sido sencillo, sin florituras, entrelazando vueltas de puntos bajos combinando colores, y rematando con un borde en el mismo azul empleado para una de las líneas.

The blanket design was simple, without frills, combining colours throughout single crochet rows and finishing with a blue ending.

Y el resultado final ha sido una mantita de cuna muy versátil, para envolver al bebé en estos días cambiantes de primavera-verano, donde pasamos del frío al calor, o a las tormentas…

The final result is a versatile crib blanket to wrap the baby in these changing days, when we pass from the cold to the hot stage, from spring days to summer storms…
