Buenos días,

como ya está haciendo mucho calor y apetece ir a la playa o a la piscina, os propongo hoy una idea muy fresca en color blanco.

Tenía una falda blanca de algodón que ya no me ponía porque me parecía muy larga, y me daba mucha tirarla o donarla, porque la tela era muy buena y tenía unos detalles bordados en hilo plateado realmente originales y bonitos. Dejé volar la imaginación  y se me ocurrió reciclarla para hacerle a mi hija un vestido playero, haciéndole unos tirantes de ganchillo en hilo de algodón blanco y adaptándola a su medida.

I had a white cotton skirt that I didn’t use because it seemed too long for me. I didn’t want to donate or throw it out, because it had such a nice cotton cloth as well as some silver embroidered details that made it really original and cool. So I thought I could recycle it to make a beach cloth for my daughter. Then I let my imagination run free and I designed a pair of crochet shoulder straps, knitted in white cotton.

La falda tenía unos entredoses que imitan al ganchillo así que elegí un punto sencillo, que se pareciera a los entredoses, y que fuera más o menos del mismo ancho: unos 3 cm. ¡Manos a la obra!

The skirt had some lacy parts similar to crochet, so I decided to knit a simple point that could suit them, with a similar width, more or less 3 cm. Let’s do it!

Una vez obtenido el largo deseado, se rematan los tirantes con una vuelta a punto enano, para darles más consistencia y se cosen por el interior de la tela.

When you reach the desired length, you finish the straps with a single crochet row, to make them more consistent. Then you saw them inside the skirt cloth.
