Aunque no son normales para esta época del año las temperaturas que estamos disfrutando, parece que los pronósticos meteorológicos nos anuncian lluvia, frío y caída de las temperaturas para este fin de semana. A mi no me ha pillado desprevenida porque ya tengo preparado un fantástico chal, que también se puede usar como cuello, ideal para combatir el frío. ¡Aquí os lo muestro!.

Though we are enjoying unusual high temperatures for this season, it seems according to the weather forecast, that this weekend we are going to have rain, cold and a huge fall in temperatures. But it hasn’t taken me by surprise because I’ve already prepared a gorgeous shawl, that can also be used as a collar, which is ideal against the cold. Here your are!

Como tantas otras veces la inspiración vino de Pinterest. Es un chal que se teje en semicírculo y utilizando una lana de las que cambian de color según se va tejiendo, queda muy bonito. Yo utilicé una variedad de lana Katia Print en acrílico.

As many other times, inspiration came through Pinterest. You have to crochet the shawl in a semicircle way, and if you use a yarn of those that change the shade while you’re knitting, the result is awesome. I used a variety of acrylic Katia Print. 

Poco a poco, vuelta tras vuelta,  la labor va tomando forma…y una vez que se llega al final, hay que decidirse por un remate…Probé varios como el primero que os muestro, con unos pequeños tréboles, pero finalmente me decidí por el segundo que lleva dos vueltas, una de cadeneta y otra con tréboles. El borde va tejido con una lana lisa modelo Alaska de Drops, para que contraste.

Little by little, row after row, you see the project  begins to take shape…and when it comes to the end, you must decide on an edge… I tried some as the first one I show you, with tiny shamrocks, but finally, I decided to crochet the second one that has two rows, the first one with chains and the second with sharmrocks. The edge has been knited with a plain yarn which is Alaska from Drops brand, so that it will contrast with the other yarn used.

Como veis, las posibilidades de esta prenda no tienen límite. Lo podéis llevar como un chal, como un cuello con los tres picos hacia delante, como un poncho un poco ladeado…en fin, como más os guste. ¿Os animáis a haceros uno?
